Enigmatis 2: The Mists of Ravenwood is an adventure, puzzle, and casual game published and developed by Artifex Mundi on June 5, 2014. This single-player title serves as the sequel to Enigmatis: The Ghost of Maple Creek and continues the story one year after the previous events. The narrative follows a detective who has been pursuing a demonic preacher through the redwood forests of Northern California for several months. Although she hoped to end the chase, the trail went cold before she discovered an abandoned camper with fresh claw marks on the highway. All clues from that scene lead players toward nearby Ravenwood Park, where the detective feels watched by invisible eyes and sinister shadows. The setting features 55 hand-drawn locations with animated details, including the park's scenery and the glances of overly-polite employees. Players must determine if this place is connected to Maple Creek and the preacher while investigating a mysterious prisoner encountered on a forest path. The story includes horror elements, plot twists, and shadowy intrigue as the detective questions whether she is being used by forces from outside our world. The game offers an atmospheric soundtrack and a picturesque setting that supports the exciting detective story. Users can draw conclusions based on evidence and clues using the in-game Evidence Board to solve the mystery of what happened to the camper. There are 30 collectible butterflies to find throughout the experience, along with 36 achievements to unlock. A bonus adventure titled The Redeemed Memories allows players to witness the origins of Ravenwood Park and rescue friends from an evil dwelling within.
