About
Ideology in Friction is an indie RPG published by Kagura Games and developed by ONEONE1, released on June 13, 2019. The single-player experience tells the story of two knights named Clacier and Annette who are forced into a difficult situation requiring a life-changing decision. Their journey begins in the Kingdom of Viktor where a group of cadets finishes their grueling training to become knights. Although few graduates succeed, Clacier and Annette stand out as top members of the graduating class ready to impact the world. Mysterious beasts start appearing throughout the land, causing many young knights from the Royal Knight Academy to fall in battle against these horrors. As monsters roam freely, mankind also begins fighting among themselves rather than uniting against the threats. These events drive Clacier and Annette down separate paths that eventually place them on opposing sides of a growing conflict. The main story takes approximately 18 hours to complete, while including extras extends the playtime to about 25 hours.
