About
The Sexy Brutale is an indie mystery adventure developed by Cavalier Game Studios and Tequila Works for single-player gameplay. Published by Tequila Works, this title was released on April 10, 2017. The game centers on a mysterious day at a casino mansion where guests are murdered repeatedly by the staff. At midnight each cycle, time rewinds to allow the player to relive the same events and observe the grisly outcomes again. You awaken wearing a mask with a bloody handprint that offers protection while you watch and spy on the mansion's inhabitants. Your goal is to learn each guest's secrets to prevent their fate. The experience includes ten unique murder scenarios featuring various methods of death such as arachnid attacks, immolation, and perforation. Players can expect a main story length of six hours, which extends to seven hours with extras or eight hours for completionist play. The setting is an extravagant masquerade party spread across the sprawling and bizarre casino mansion.

I found Boone's quest so fascinating, the Brutale's secrets so alluring, and its world so charming that I rewound the clock just to spend a few more days in Lafcadio's beautiful nightmare.
EurogamerEdwin Evans-Thirlwell
A perfectly horrid, wonderfully thought-out mixture of Majora's Mask-style time rewinding and Metroidvania exploration.
