About
Ostranauts is an indie role-playing simulation developed by Blue Bottle Games and published by Modern Wolf, released on September 10, 2020. The game features a single-player experience where you manage life aboard your ship while scavenge and explore the boneyard. You can create, build, and customise your ship to suit your needs in this noir space-sim setting. In this solar system cut-off from a ravaged Earth, you play as a scavenger trying to make a living in the dredges of space. After pulling together the funds plus a hefty loan to gain independence, you must manage your dysfunctional crew and ship. Every choice you make will affect the outcome of the game as you fend off bankruptcy or worse. During character creation, you use a Career Kiosk to shape your character's background, income, and qualifications. This tool allows you to customise your traits and skillset, which are essential when managing your ship, its crew, and anyone sticking their noses in your business. The main story plus extras can take up to 186 hours to complete.
