The gameplay involves navigating dark corridors and cold rooms while facing abominable creatures in bloody fights. You must scavenge weapons, ammo, and gadgets to raise your chance to survive against enemies hunting each room of the facility. Managing your inventory is essential to make room for what you deem vital during these dangerous encounters. You can buy upgrades and devices to help you during fights while solving puzzles and recovering logs and documents. These recovered items include documents from the 1950s that unveil the stories of the people who worked there.
