Wasteland 3 is an RPG and Strategy game developed by inXile Entertainment and published by inXile Entertainment. It was released on August 27, 2020. Players can enjoy Wasteland 3 in single-player, multiplayer, or co-op modes. In Wasteland 3, you lead a squad of Desert Rangers tasked with rebuilding society after a nuclear apocalypse. The game takes place over a century after the bombs fell and focuses on your struggle to keep Arizona alive. You are contacted by the Patriarch of Colorado who offers aid in exchange for completing a mission: rescuing his land from his three dangerous children. Your journey will take you from the deserts to the snowy mountains, where you'll establish a new base, find a suitable vehicle, train recruits, and fight through hostile environments. Throughout your adventure, you must navigate a world filled with corruption, intrigue, and warring factions, making difficult decisions about who to trust. The main story takes approximately 37 hours to complete. If you include additional content, the playtime increases to 49 hours. A completionist playthrough can take up to 73 hours.
