Arknights: Endfied Is Getting A Steam Version With The Drop Of Its Next Update

Today, Gryphline hosted a new Special Program, detailing the next Arknights: Endfield update arriving on October 15. After a small adventure in the last update, this next one brings players back to the main story, forcing them to face the problems with the Endmin’s health. The Feranmut Proxy Si is ready to treat the Endmin and has come to take them to a special place for that to happen – specifically Yuanyuan Manor. This manor is part of a realm Si has created using her own painting powers. It’s a whole region on its own, and it has its own problems that will need dealing with, that seem to also be tied to the Endmin’s injuries. It seems we’ll also learn more about the Endmin’s past here.

The Feranmut Proxy Si is the first of two new Operators being introduced in the upcoming update. She’s a support character with damage capabilities. Capable of pulling an “Inksoul” from enemies, she uses that to deal damage to the real enemy, including ones that are out of her reach otherwise. She also buffs Cryo and Heat teammates.

The second Operator is another old friend of the Endministrator’s, Argent Flow. This Operator uses both sword and spear techniques along with mounted attacks from atop a warhorse. Players will learn more about this Operator in a separate piece of story content.

With the launch of the new update, players of the free-to-play action RPG can expect the return of Contigency Contract as well as some new casual events. One even has players running a countryside inn. The update also comes with new quality-of-life features like saved equipment loadouts, improved mouse targeting, and more.
