Arknights: Endfield Next Update Takes The Fight To Nefarith

Earlier today, Gryphline shared details on the next Arknights: Endfield update, titled “At the Wake of Spring”. The update continues the free-to-play factory-building action RPG’s Wuling storyline with a summons from the city’s leader, Zhuang Fangyi, following an unwanted visit from the mysterious Ardashir. It’s not just him we’ll have to deal with, though. It appears Nefarith is a bit over the lurking in the shadows and letting her cronies do the fighting for her thing, and has stepped onto the battlefield herself. This means we’ll fight our first real battle against her (Yes, “first”, as in there will probably be more) since we met her.

Since this bit of story content directly involves Zhuang Fangyi, you probably won’t be surprised to see that she’s the new playable Operator being introduced in this update. Fangyi blends Electric-damage lightning attacks with swordplay.

The update also introduces two new areas to the game, Marker Stone and Test area, as well as two new mission scenes, Wuling Underground Array and Attacked Main Pillar Office. Players can also look forward to more factory gameplay with an updated AIC plan, the new Purification Node facility, a new outpost, and new gear to produce.

Of course, there are new events that will offer all kinds of rewards as well. This includes a chef event and a space exploration event. Speaking of rewards, Gryphline has sent 1000 Oroberyl, 10,000 T-Creds, 8 Elementary Cognitive Carriers, and 4 Arms INSP Set to players via their in-game mail, as a thanks for supporting them. There is a time limit on claiming those items. So be sure to log in before April 25.
