DC Universe Online Teases Episode 48, Xbox Version "Close To Finalizing Development"

The July DC Universe Online Producer’s letter is up and there’s some pretty big news in this one. For one thing, the letter announces that several new individuals have joined the MMORPG’s development team. (That’s a change of pace for the current industry standard.) The letter also updates Xbox players on the status of the Series X|S version of the game, stating that the team is “close to finalizing development”. More information on progress will be provided later, but those who want to keep an eye on progress can do so on the game’s forums.

In addition to the update on the Xbox status, the letter also teases Episode 48 – which apparently “follows the adventures of a beloved antihero”. That’s pretty much what they’re willing to tell everyone about it, well that and they’ll face dangerous decisions that threaten the world. Players won’t have to wait too long to find out about the update. The big reveal will take place on July 26 during Daybreak’s “Revolutionizing Legends: The Evolution of Iconic Online Games” panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
