Brutal new ARPG might be the closest we ever get to a first-person Diablo 4

A few tweaks can turn a gear-focused action RPG like Diablo into something that feels like an entirely new style of game. While Path of Exile 2 and Last Epoch offer experiences similar to Diablo 4, the series has also inspired shooters ranging from Destiny 2 and Outriders to The Division 2 and Borderlands 4. Still, there's something to be said for the demon-slicing and faux-medieval European dungeon-crawling that also gives Diablo some of its charm. A new game called Daimon Blades looks to channel all of these elements into a first-person roguelike hack and slash that serves as a spin-off for cult classic RPG Eye: Divine Cybermancy.
