If you’ve been having problems with dropped frames in Marvel Rivals lately, the problem may be your graphics card drivers – if you use NVIDIA GeForce, that is. According to an announcement from NetEase, the version 580.88 GeForce driver update has been causing drops in GPU usage for some players of the hero shooter, something they’ll notice as frame rate drops.
There is good news, however. First, NetEase is working with NVIDIA to figure out what’s causing the issue. Granted, this won’t help players until they’ve got everything figured out. In the meantime, players are advised to roll the drivers back to Version 577.00. If you’d rather not go digging for those drivers, the dev team was nice enough to provide a link in the announcement on the Steam page.
Aside from the rollback, there are no other immediate solutions suggested by the devs. Hopefully, working with NVIDIA will yield results soon, and players will be able to bring their drivers back up to date.
