The Latest Raven2 Update Introduces Skill Awakening System, Giving Players More ways To Enhance Their Skills

A new update is out for Netmarble’s free-to-play dark fantasy MMORPG, Raven2, bringing players new high-level content. With the launch of the update, players can now explore Walthar, a new region designed for players Level 85 and higher. Granted, this won’t be all of the new region. For now, it’s just the first phase featuring two new areas and a total of nine hunting grounds that’s available. But that should probably be enough to keep them busy for a while. More of the region will be made available over time.

Players also now have a new way to improve upon their skills with the introduction of Skill Awakening. This new growth system can be used on all unique skills with the exception of Heavenstone skills, provided the skill is already at level +3. To do this, they’ll need a Skill Enhancement Stone and a Skill Awakening Stone that match the skill grade.

To accompany the update, Netmarble is hosting two in-game events. Bartram’s Special 7-Day Mission rewards players with Essence of the sun for completing missions. Meanwhile Bartram’s Special 14-day Check-In provides players with a selection of rewards for logging in daily. Other events will provide growth materials and other useful items.
