V Rising exited early access last week and officially launched. Since then, it seems Stunlock Studios has been fairly busy, dropping three different hotfixes into the MMO between May 10 and May 15. None of that seems to have hurt the developer, however, as the game is still sitting with a very positive rating on Steam. Even the most recent 7000 views are carrying that rating. That’s great news for the developer.
Aside from pushing out hotfixes, the dev team has also been tracking player activity and has shared a few stats on social media. On May 12, the developer announced that they have 130,000 vampires skulking around the game.
That post was followed up yesterday with another graphic that showed the activity over launch week. These included things like the number of horses dominated and rats devoured as well as the most popular weapons and spells. One interesting statistic revealed that over 350,000 deaths were the result of sunlight. We’re not sure if there were just that many people who got caught in the sun or if the same few were convinced they were daywalkers.
