Wuthering Waves' Next Update Is A Bit Of A Sidetrip Into A Ghost Train

Today, Kuro Games hosted the Wuthering Waves Version 3.8 Special Program, sharing details of the update that will drop in the free-to-play open-world RPG on November 12. The update, titled “Lilies in a Dying Dream” is a bit of an interlude following the conclusion of the events in Mengzhou. Think of it as being similar to our little side trip to Honami which lead us to Lahai-roi.

This time, we’re entering a Sonorosphere that houses the souls of those who took part in the war between Resonators and regular humans. This place is watched over by a former perfumer named Lili, who it seems wants to help the souls there (despite being a lost soul herself). But, there’s something not quite right about the place.

The Sonorosphere and the dream it contains have ties to what is pretty guaranteed to be our next stop, the New Federation. So, it can only help us to figure out what’s going on. That, and we’ll learn more about the war that shaped the region.

Lily, a Spectro Resonator with support abilities, is armed with pistols. She’s the sole new Resonator in this update, and will be accompanied by reruns of Sigrika and Qiuyuan in the first Convene banner. The second banner will feature reruns of Yangyang: Xuanling, Suisui, and Hiyuki.

In addition, a new Starpath Reverbs Convene was announced. This one features Camellya, Roccia, Phoebe, and Brant.

During the stream, the devs also shared details on new events as well as technical updates. You can find out more about those in the video below.

As always, there are redemption codes to be had as well. Be sure to use them quickly: TRAINOFSOULS, BLOOMINGFLOWERS, and SCHOOLLIFE.
