Abiotic Factor is a survival crafting experience playable by 1-6 players. The game takes place in an underground research facility. Players will face challenges from paranormal containment failure, military conflict, and interdimensional threats. GATE operates global research laboratories dedicated to scientific study, including anomalies and paranormal entities.

As a GATE employee, you will seek to understand the unexplainable, such as gravity-distorting artifacts and violent supernatural creatures. Safety, security, and secrecy are paramount at GATE, but after a catastrophic containment breach, your workplace becomes a battle zone. Anomalous entities are unleashed, enemies from other dimensions invade through portals, and The Order, an arcane military sect, targets personnel and entities indiscriminately to seize powerful artifacts.

Abiotic Factor was published by Playstack and developed by Deep Field Games. It will be released on May 2, 2024. The game includes both single-player and multiplayer modes, as well as cooperative gameplay. Abiotic Factor falls into the action, RPG, adventure, and simulation genres.
