About
The Entropy Centre is a first-person adventure and puzzle game developed by Stubby Games and published by Playstack. It was released on November 3, 2022, as a single-player experience. The core gameplay involves rewinding objects through time to solve complex puzzles and overcome obstacles. Players manipulate time to rebuild collapsing structures or reheat drinks while navigating the environment. The story takes place in a colossal space station orbiting Earth after an extinction-level event has set the world ablaze. You appear to be the last person alive, with mankind's hope located at the core of the Entropy Centre. An AI-powered device named ASTRA assists you by scanning an object's spacetime chronology and moving it through the past. This technology allows for actions such as reheating cups of tea or fixing structural failures. The main story takes approximately nine hours to complete, while finishing all extras extends playtime to ten hours. The completionist length remains at ten hours for those who wish to explore every aspect of the game. Each puzzle room is designed to be ingeniously challenging and brings you closer to understanding the station's collapse.

The Entropy Centre is a more than competent Portal tribute with clever time-manipulation puzzles and an endearing cast, but it doesn't take its clever concept as far as it seems like it should.

With The Entropy Centre behind me, I’m fascinated by what Stubby Games accomplished with its debut. It’s full of excellent puzzles, but the stuff around them, like bugs and narrative pacing, stop the entire package from coming together in an equally impressive way.
