About

Carmageddon Max Pack is a title published by THQ Nordic GmbH and developed by Stainless Software that falls within the racing, indie, action, and combat genres. Released on August 29, 1997, the game offers both single-player and multi-player modes for players to enjoy. The experience centers on taking control of Max Damage to plow through vehicles positioned in your path. The soundtrack consists of crunching metal, splattered motor oil on the windshield, and the screams of skidding tires. Players can choose from 23 crashmobiles, ranging from a monster truck to a high octane Dragster. The game includes over 30 levels designed to provide hellish fury and motorized terror. Upon release, Carmageddon faced significant controversy because it allowed players to mow down innocent race cars for points. This unusual concept was not something the world was prepared for at the time of its launch. Despite the initial noise, the title generated enough discussion to become well-known. The game is now available in its full original glory for new players to experience.
