About

Forgive Me Father 2 is an indie horror action shooter developed by Byte Barrel and published by Fulqrum Publishing, released on October 19, 2023. This single-player title continues the narrative of the Priest character from the first installment within a malevolent world inspired by H.P Lovecraft's myths. Players follow a path to salvation while facing questions about how long they can remain balanced on the edge of sanity before their souls are consumed. The game features distinctive dark comic-like visuals that make every frame resemble a page from a comic book. The sequel improves upon its predecessor with fresh sprites, models, and atmospheric lighting effects. Combat is enhanced by juicy blood effects and animated gibs that fly everywhere during intense encounters. Defeat Lovecraftian nightmares using a wide range of weapons to fight hosts of diverse and formidable enemies. Each enemy evolves into different, ever more evil and twisted forms as the journey progresses without getting any easier. Players can define their own playstyle by assembling an arsenal of devastating shotguns, lethally accurate rifles, and explosive launchers. These weapons come with powerful variations designed to cause absolute mayhem and bring utter destruction upon foes. Overwhelming madness serves as both a friend and an enemy that allows players to unleash extraordinary powers as a reward. Embrace the insanity to fuel bizarre new abilities and teach the horrors assaulting your senses to fear you in return. The experience is underscored by an original soundtrack combining strong electric guitar riffs and energetic drums. This otherworldly music fits the dark Lovecraftian atmosphere while making listeners headbang for hours on end during battles against deranged cultists and ancient evil.
