About
Heavy Bullets is an action indie title developed by Terri Vellmann and Doseone for Devolver Digital, released on September 18, 2014. This single-player experience takes place within a colorful maze where players navigate through aggressive creatures and malfunctioning security devices. The objective involves reaching the end of the eighth level to reset the security mainframe and restore order. Players begin each attempt with just six bullets for their revolver, which must be picked up after every shot and manually reloaded one by one. Success requires moving carefully and making smart use of items and the environment rather than rushing into new areas. Various perks are available to aid progress, including homing bombs, coin magnets, a teleporter, and high heels that change the approach to each situation. The main story takes approximately seven hours to complete, while playing through all extras extends the experience to sixteen hours. A completionist run of the game requires about eighteen hours to finish every available content.
