About
The Bard's Tale ARPG: Remastered and Resnarkled is an action, fantasy, adventure, and RPG title published and developed by inXile Entertainment. It was released on October 27, 2004, and offers a single-player experience for fans of the genre. The package includes the original classic games The Bard's Tale 1, 2, and 3 alongside the remastered content. Players assume the role of the Bard, a selfish rogue who is tired of pointless sub-quests and rat-infested cellars. Through magical song, you can summon characters to join your quest as you navigate a vast world. This environment includes towns, wild forests, rivers, castles, towers, secret dungeons, snowy mountains, caverns, and haunted tombs. The game features over 50 enemy types, excluding bosses, along with more than a dozen special boss enemies to defeat. You will encounter a full cast of bizarre NPCs and discover sixteen magical characters to summon at will for aid. The loot system provides over 150 unique items of weaponry, armor, instruments, tokens, artifacts, and other gear. The experience includes more song and dance numbers than any other game, featuring a zombie dance-off among others. There are over fourteen hours of outstanding voice acting included in the full cast. This title stands as a collection of classic adventures that can be played entirely on your own.
