HoYoverse Drops Launch Date For Cozy MMO Petit Planet

This was a bit of a surprise. I mean, I knew a date for the launch of Petit Planet was on the way when HoYoverse announced the Pre-Launch Special Program would be taking place this weekend. I just figured they’d announce the free-to-play cozy MMO’s global launch during the stream.

I suppose I should have known better. The company does have a habit of dropping big things related to their games late at night (in the West) on weekdays. If you need any proof, just look at that big Honkai: Star Rail lore drop earlier this week.

Either way, the point is that we now know that Petit Planet will launch globally on December 4 and that it will be available to pre-download on December 1. Ahead of that, players can pre-register for the game. If you have the HoYoPlay game launcher installed, it has likely sent you an alert letting you know that option is available and you can just click the button. That will also save you the trouble of remembering to pre-download later as the launcher will automatically do it for you.

The game is also available to download via the Epic Games Store. And, of course there are mobile options.
