Bitcraft Online Enters Phase 2 Of Early Access

Bitcraft Online is another of those games that is buy-to-play right now, but will eventually be free-to-play… when it officially launches, that is. Today, we’re a step closer to that moment. The game is still in Early access, but Clockwork Labs dropped a patch that takes the MMORPG into what they’ve dubbed “Early Access 2”. This new phase includes new features and changes. It also cuts the current cost of entry in half. Well, technically, more than that.
During the first phase of Early Access, Bitcraft ran $30. Now, it’s $16. But the game is currently on sale at 50% off, so that knocks it down to $8. That’s getting closer to free.
As for what players can expect from the recent update, the patch notes indicate that new quests have been added for onboarding, introducing professions and skills. New Storehouse Settlement Structures have been added, as has a new Barter quest. There’s also a new quest for players who skipped the tutorial that will help them earn XP from the previous world.
Changes have been made to gameplay as well. For example, rather than requiring Hexite Shards, Empires can now use a Hexite Energy Item that can be obtained via gameplay. The Experience Curve and Tool Power have been rebalanced. And certain emotes are no longer available by default. A full rundown of additions and changes can be found in the game’s patch notes.
